INTRODUCTION
Sifam Instruments Limited was formed as an independent company in late 1999 as part of the sale of the 1927 founded Sifam Limited. Operating from the original location in Torquay all staff and products were retained. We employ 180 people and have annual sales approaching £10 Million. We have an approved ISO9001 quality system in place and are BASEEFA certified. London based venture capitalists Thompson Clive & Partners are major investors in Sifam Instruments Limited.

PRODUCTS
Sifam Instruments designs and manufactures a wide range of standard and custom analogue meters, digital meters, control knobs, Digitron branded instruments and Queensgate® nanopositioning systems. We have a skilled, flexible and loyal workforce. Most of our products are designed and manufactured in house, and can be adapted to individual customer needs. Current products include:

Meters - a wide range of standard and custom analogue meters is available. Moving coil meters based are based on taut band principles. Aircraft Instruments, programmable digital meters, and bar graph indicators are also produced.

Control Knobs - a wide range of standard and custom control knobs and accessories is available. Produced from single, two and three shot moulding machines with second operations including assembly, printing and ultrasonic welding.

Digitron Instruments - a wholly owned subsidiary of Sifam Instruments offers temperature, pressure, relative humidity and data loggers instruments as well as gas analysers sold under the Digitron brand name.

Queensgate Instruments - a wholly owned subsidiary of the Sifam Instruments group of companies, Queensgate designs and manufactures Nanopostioning products for the disk drive and semi-conductor industries. Since 1979, Queensgate® has pioneered the development of a range of market-leading products.

Manufacturing Partnerships - a comprehensive sub contract manufacturing service offering all of the technologies of the business including surface mount facilities is available.

CUSTOMER BASE
Sifam Instruments supplies products to a very wide range of manufacturing and service industries worldwide. There is a comprehensive distributor network, fully supported by dedicated Sifam personnel, in most industrialised countries. There is an excellent record of establishing and maintaining long-term relationships. Extensive experience has been gained working with customers operating MRP, KANBAN and JIT systems.
